From a teary moment with your mother, as you get into your dress, to the proud grin on your father’s face as he sees you for the first time as a bride, these precious moments are an intricate part of your wedding story.

I believe history matters as much as the future. Wedding photography should be about more than just your big day. Your wedding is both an end and a beginning. It brings the end to stories, which until now were told separately, and begins the weaving of each other’s family history into a beautiful tapestry of our own family’s story. Time to Reminisce
A reflection of style, grace and timelessness, like their relationship. Tons of colors and glitz and glam were for others; MM and Jonathan stood for tradition and charm. A timeless, classic Southern theme set the tone for the best day of their life!
Married at Grace Church in Downtown Greenville, with its towering cerulean blue steeple, this class Greek Revival structure boasts six pillars at the front entrance leading inside to the chapel’s vaulted ceilings and dark wood pews. This chapel has been on the National Register of Historic Places for over fifty years establishing its place in history. MM and Jonathan loved the effortless beauty of the chapel. Draping greenery, abundant with white roses, and pillars of candles created the backdrop for MM and Jonathan’s vows.
After the couple pronounced their love for one another and the “I do’s” were exchanged, the marriage celebration continued at the Poinsett Club located in the Pettigru Historic District of Greenville. The Poinsett Club, one of the most exclusive private clubs in America.
Perhaps the most special touch to both of them was the significance of butterflies throughout the wedding and reception, as seen on Jonathan’s bow tie and as the backdrop to the dance floor - thoughtfully designed greenery, dotted with migrating butterflies. Butterflies serve a special significance to MM, who had a visitation by a lone monarch butterfly on the day of her engagement. Butterflies do not travel alone, in December and without their kaleidoscope (or group). Looking back, MM knew how rare that butterfly encounter was and understood the significance of that visitor, who landed comfortably on her shoulder and stayed for a time, was a visit from granddaddy with whom she had held a most special bond. And so as they began planning, MM and Jonathan knew they wanted to subtly incorporate butterflies throughout their day to honor MM’s granddaddy and Jonathan’s grandparents.
Additional unique and thoughtful touches included the live band, an homage to MM’s childhood. Growing up listening to beach music and Motown was important to MM, and having the perfect playlist helped set the night’s vibe. Guests were encouraged to dance the evening away, and they did just that!

Christa & Brian’s wedding day was the perfect representation of an elegant southern affair. The pair exchanged vows under enormous oak trees overlooking the intracoastal waterway on the historic Lockwood Folly Country Club estates–a former hunting preserve.
The landscape provides an idyllic setting for those wanting to get married close to the beach, but not on the beach, as you are close enough to hear the ocean roaring and see the sun glistening on the tranquil water.
In true Carolina style, the wedding party complimented one another in shades of blue. Classic white and pink florals adorned with greenery were the choice for elegant bouquets and centerpieces.
What a magical day full of beautiful elements for Christa & Brian’s North Carolina wedding!

Kourtney & Miguel's intimate vow exchange could not have been anymore romantic. The couple opted for an oh-so-sweet first look before their charming chapel wedding.
Mother Nature provided us with a light drizzle as they saw one another for the first time, and exchanged their emotional and heartwarming wedding vows.
And let's talk about that ring! The emerald engagement ring holds special significance for the couple, as emeralds are a major export of Miguel's home country, Columbia. I am obsessed with Kortney's bling and this sweet love story.
The day was full of lots of hugs, tears and laughter as Kourtney & Miguel celebrated their union with family and friends. Miguel’s best man even surprised the couple by singing a beautiful song just for them during the reception–and of course, the other groomsmen joined in. It doesn’t get much better than this!
